Well I know this blog is going to be early, I can't blog on wendesdays because of colorguard and plus our football team made playoff!!!. haha

Hey ladies, It feels like it has been forever since the last time i blogged.
This month is Breast Cancer awareness month. I've very involved with BC because of my great grandmother. During the weekend torrid is having something for BC.
It's also homecoming week for me. But yesterday I got an knee injury playing in powder puff.
But I'm hoping I can still go to the dance.
and Plus next week I'm going halloween shopping woot woot.

School is now back in session. Well for me it has been back in session for a while now.
I'm taking the hardest math class of my life ....adv. alegbra 2 with trig. ouch!!

This post is all about my back to school denim.
What pair of denim I rocked back to school with ? why ? and How much I love them?
To start it ladies I wore back " Torrid straight Denim" back to school. ( You can see it in my august 18th blog )
I love straight leg jeans because they show off your curves and aren't too mom looking or they dont show your crack haha .. just keeping it real.
It can even add that little edge you need to make your style.
=] so ladies go out and buy you some straight leg jeans from torrid.. and I bet you will love them.

Okay So I've been super duper busy this week, because of school and colorguard.
but i'm here to recap my summer for you.

1st Hawaii cruise!!
Best thing of my summer.. I've met so many teenagers there it was amazing .. and plus I still talk to most of them.

2nd BAND CAMP!!
It was HOT!! and I'm very excited that its over and done with... =]

3nd ... hi school model search...
dont like it.... I LOVE IT!!!
AND Plus this whole summer I wore all torrid things.. haha

HEEEY WORLD!!
I've been really busy lately with school starting plus it's my junior year. So its all about working hard and passing top of my class this year.
Everybody at school loved my outfit i wore for the 1st day, but then the second day I had pictures so I went with a purple shirt I brought and my hair had gotten poofy so I just put it in a ponytail.

Anyway.
The "hot " item of the year for me is straight leg jeans.. of any color or type. =]
The "must" have item is new & improved tops.. so i can change my style daily.

well i cant stay on for long because I have spainish and adv. alegbra 2 homework >.<

Wooow Time is going by so fast, and school is almost here. I love going back to school but hate the homework and the projects haha.

So sorry for the late post ladies..but last week i had band camp . It was fun and very hard.

My favoritve summer accessory has to be bright neon colors necklaces which are really cool and funny. I dont have any yet but i'm happening on getting some soon.\

sunglass because they can go with every kind of clothes. and if you wanna be cool like me you can wear them at night haha

Model Search experience

Hey!!!

Welcome back! Well the Torrid House of Dreams Model Search are happening July 17th -19th for the Beautiful women who are 18+. I really hope that everybody enters because it an great oppportunity and don't let somebody tell you your not going to make because of some stupid reason , do it for your self. You enter by mail or by store.

When I entered the Hi School Model Search, I was scared, worried, and excited all at the same time. I was scared and worried because what if i didn't make it, or what if I let somebody down. But then I was excited cause I know if won I could show the world what teenager can really do. I always loved model or just trying on clothes and taking pictures. Ever since I was little I always had a pose ready for the camera haha.

The day I first heard about tor rid was through my auntie, I was about 10 years old, and super happy that we finally had a plus size store with some umph in it fashion. I decided to enter the model search through the store, and I'm glad I did because it help get me more excited and ready for what was about to happen.

On the day that everything would be posted on who won, I had colorguard until 9:00 pm that day. So the first thing i did when i got home was to check the internet, and just when I saw my picture, Becky called me to tell me I won, haha I would have gotten a call the day before from her but my phone had dead hahaha. But I was still excited and called everybody in my family to tell them what had just happened. I even started dancing to my favortive group B5. My mom even cried a little bit over the phone.

The thing that I love most about winning the contest is that I meet alot of new people, I'm apart of a cool Fashion adviorsy panel family, and helping the world by helping young plus size ladies around the global.

SO NOW IT'S YOUR TURN , it your turn to make your dreams come true. Try going to the store and talking to people like I did, or you can mail your form ..

We are now in the middle of summer time, and soon school is going to be here. So lets not waste it. Here is the summer scoop!!

The hottest Concerts/Shows- I think during the summer you should go to aleast one of your fave artist concert or shows. I'm going to the Blink 182 concert right before school starts.I really wish that Kate Voegele was having a concert it would be amazing.

Summer Party- are amazing.. even if its just you and a couple of friends or it you and the whole neigborhood.. Have fun

I love to have sleep over with my girls and then go to a waterpark or sixflags the next day.

Hey , My name is Jasmine but all my friends call me Jazzy J. I'm very very late on introducing myself to you guys. so here i go!!

1. I'm in Colorguard just like val. Its hard work mixed with fun times. I love going to band camp with my girls execpt when it burning hot. I'm trying out for the danceline of colorguard, but currently i only do flags.

2.I'm going into the second hardest year of highschool.. JUNIOR YEAR. First hardest year was freshman year for me.

3. I love chocolate.. i mean who doesn't. actually i meet this boy who hated everything with chocolate, and I mean everything. SHOCKER!!!

4. Traveling around the world makes me calm and relaxed because I love it soo much. for example when I was in 8th grade, I went out of the country to germany with my classmates. and it was the best thing that could ever happen for me.

5. Growing up I was diagnosed with a Iep because I have a writing and talking disorder. But I have over come most of it.

6.I'm also in the school Choir, its a huge part of my life. I've gotten 2nd place at ISHA, and won many competiton with my school.

7. I LOVE TO DANCE AROUND THE HOUSE WITH MY HEADPHONES TO MAX..=]

SUMMER SECRETS!!

Aloha world, Summer time is HERE!!!

aahhh no more sweaters,snow boots,winter jackets, and colds.

It's all about summer dress, sandals aka slippers ( in hawaii haha) , tops, shorts, and air condtioning.Now Everybody i'm going to give you a couple quick tips and secrets on how
i stay cool in the midwest.

First since i'm have natural hair and I love to wear it out all the time in the summer. I have alot of hair accesories to with my outfits. Like example neon is my currect favortive summer color, so these could go alot with my outfits.
Having some cute jeans are a plus for chicago weather, because you never know when its going to be hot one second then windy and cold the next. My fave is the ed hardy jeans sliver logo jeans because they look great with any top you have one and they give your booty a lil bit more umph. Also I love torn jeans too

every women needs cute comftable shoes the doesnt hurt your feet. I hate shoes that hurt, and plus if you buy them just because they are cut but yet still hurt , your must likely never going to wear them. I personally love shoes that have a back to them, like these from torrid site. Wedges dont hurt like high heel , because they have more to support your feet with.

ohh you can't forget your swim suit!! every women needs a nice swimsuit even in chicago. This suit is noticable and that why i love about.. it something everybody will notice when your walking around the beach, pool, or waterpark.. its like BOOM!!

Back from Hawaii!!

Hey everybody,
Sorry it take so long for me to blog, but I was on vacation in HAWAII!!! I went on a cruise ship to view different parts of hawaii and it was beautiful . Everything is so free and relaxing , I even went window shopping and found a couple things i could mix and match but it was kind of pricey. The cruise was very fun , I meet alot of cool teenagers, HOT GUYS , and HOTTER GUYS. ha ha
I found out in hawaii that you could take anything and make it part of your style, like flowers, or a neon colored belt.
